The corresponding decision was made today at a meeting of the Innopolis City Council.

The current composition of the deputies was formed in 2021. Since then, one deputy has resigned, and three have moved out of Innopolis. This situation undermines the principle of equal representation of voters’ interests and may lead to the absence of a quorum at council meetings.

In addition, the decision is reasonable in terms of synchronization with the unified calendar of municipal elections in the Republic of Tatarstan.
