Innopolis is the first city in modern Russian history built from scratch. The country's first IT university opened here. The first delivery robots and robotaxis appeared here. That's why the festival was held under the "Very First" concept.
The festival began with activities for children and adults that reflected the cultural code of the young city. Guests played keyboard tennis, participated in an IT race, and played the giant board game "Innopolis." One of the most unusual venues was the city post office. Anyone could send a free postcard anywhere in the country, which was signed by a robot.
The festival's main stage featured performances by Nike Borzov, the band "STRIO," the "Kruzhok Khor" (Chorus Circle) with local residents, and the local band "Meteosvodka." The festival concluded with an open-air party featuring DJ Bubble Gum B. His appearance was a surprise for festival guests: he flew onto the stage on a crane.
Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tatarstan Roman Shaikhutdinov participated in the festival.
"The history of Innopolis is the story of a bold decision. When the city was founded, only a few countries in the world could demonstrate examples of building a new technology center from scratch. Today, Innopolis is known far beyond the country's borders, and the city itself has become part of Russia's technological history. I would like to thank the Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, Rustam Minnikhanov, who stood at the origins of the project and laid the foundation for its development. Thanks to his vision and support, it became possible to realize an idea that continues to yield results for the entire country," noted Roman Shaikhutdinov.
Today, Innopolis is home to over 8,000 people, hundreds of technology companies, and Russia's first IT university. The city is one of the key platforms for the development of digital technology and innovation in Russia.
Innopolis Mayor Ildar Khuzzyatov congratulated the city:
"Over the past 11 years, Innopolis has become not just a city of technology, but a place where a unique community of people creating the future is forming. "The city's birthday is a celebration for everyone who chooses Innopolis to live, work, study, and realize their ideas. A city isn't just buildings or a master plan. A city is you. Happy birthday, Innopolis!" said Ildar Khuzzyatov, Mayor of Innopolis.
The festival is organized with the support of Innopolis University.
