Innopolis Mayor Dmitry Vandyukov and Guangming District Mayor Qiu Haohang in China signed an agreement on cooperation in key areas of high technology. 

The strategic partnership opens up new prospects for the development of innovative technologies, urban planning, science, management, education, tourism, culture, and economic cooperation between Russia and China.

The memorandum pays special attention to scientific and technical cooperation and innovative development. This is especially important for Innopolis as a high-tech and IT city.

"This is a historic event for Innopolis and Guangming. I am confident that our partnership will become a catalyst for the development of not only the technology sector, but also the urban environment as a whole, from infrastructure to the quality of life of citizens. Working together on new projects will help make our cities even more modern and comfortable," said Dmitry Vandyukov, the mayor of the city.

Guangming is an important IT center, known for advanced biomedicine, scientific research in the field of AI, the production of new materials, consumer and industrial electronics, retail and logistics.
