The Ministry of Economic Development extended the experiment for another three years.

The first robotaxis were launched in Innopolis in 2018. The experiment yielded significant results — almost 100 thousand trips and 1 million km of total mileage in the city. Automated driverless control technology was also tested.

Innopolis plans to continue testing unmanned vehicles in an urban environment.
